These design case is about the Portable glaze rack, In Teknion we used two item glazes for manufacture office panel partition;

TOS using seven deferential height size such as 30”, 36”, 42”, 48”, and 54” and with 15”width.
TOS also have special size glaze like 18” and 24” height.
For TGD glaze we have height size such as 18”, 24”, 30”, 36”, 42”, 48”, 54” and 60”.
Special size for TGD is 12”x18”, 12”x24”, 30”x36”, 30”x48”, and 30”x60”.

The existing wooden rack is not more suitable for storage the glaze, these problem begin with;

Mission Statement;

The goal of this project is to create water pump than can regenerate electricity when water flow through it. The current generated by the pump will be kept in a battery. The electricity will support all kind of load with in 12 volt. The pump is installing near the water meter. So every time we use the water, the water pump will charge the battery. The product is environment friendly, energy saving and cost effective.

PROPOSAL PROJECT: Scooter for Handicapped Peoples

Mission Statement;

Main objective of the project is to design a vehicle that enables disabled peoples move from one place to another faster, whether it is in a building or open road. Scooter is the most suitable selection to be innovated because of its mobility. Conventional scooter is not user-friendly to disabled peoples, and several modifications must be made for ease of use. The proposed additional parts are seat, luggage box, and extra tyres for stability. The scooter can also be used by normal people without any modification needed.

Mission Statement;

This combo cleaner product is the multipurpose cleaner, detachable built in tank with changeable cleaner and powered by the DC motor that can easily use to remove the stains or to polish the car. This product can be used at indoor or out door. Within this product can save time and energy because have provided the liquid detergent and also automatic brush that use 9 V rechargeable battery. Mission Statement;

The purpose of subject is to teach and give knowledge to design student about the design for manufacture and assembly (DFMA) in engineering environment mostly to product development. This is because, nowadays DFMA played important role to reduce or maintained the manufacturing costs and make a product compete in the global market.

Design for assembly is a process by which products are designed with ease of assembly in mind. If a product contains fewer parts it will take less time to assemble, thereby reducing assembly costs. In addition, if the parts are provided with features which make it easier to grasp, move, orient and insert them, this will also reduce assembly time and assembly costs. The reduction of the number of parts in an assembly has the added benefit of generally reducing the total costs of parts in the assembly. This is usually where the major cost benefits of the application of design for assembly occur.
