Project #1: Duet – New Product Launch
Implementation Date: July 2006
Role: End user (to test system-product configuration.)
Team Size: 1 Manager, 1 Project Engineer, 1 Document Coordinator, 2 Technical Assistant and 2 trainees. (7 peoples)
Software used: Design Express (Data One Inc.), AutoCAD 2000, Adobe Reader, and Excel
The project is to launch a new range of product called DUET, which involved setting up a new system/solution of workstation. One of the elements for product realization is creating a catalogue system by using Dataone software. The Dataone system software provides simulation installations (using AutoCAD applications), catalogue detail, space planning and product pricing. This software has globally utilized by the dealers (ex: Vanguard, Total Office and Ggi Australia) and office furniture manufacturers (such as Steelcase, Artwright and Ferco Seating) throughout the world.
My roles for this project as follows:

• Test project to identify pricing/costing & configuration error
• Preparing the report of data error to be sent to TFS Toronto & Dataone Incorporated for further actions.
• As a coordinator for any changes required by initiate the engineering change notice (ECN)
• Create item data details (to be maintained in ERP system)
• Maintain the bill of materials (BOM) in excel as references

Project #2: Creating Layout for new department.
Implementation Date: Mac 2006
Role: Draughtsman, Technical Assistant
Software: AutoCAD 2000, and Excel
Team Size: 1 Manager, 1 Project Engineer, 1 Document Coordinator, 2 Technical Assistant and 2 trainees. (7 peoples)


Project Description: The project involved setting up new layout of Aluminum department, where expose about Bill of material, routing, Man power, Machine, input and output. Also conduct the meeting, specification and design of the layout.
My roles for this project as follows:

• Preparing a report of routing, process flow and estimate output and input daily
• Make presentation to Manager how the layout works

Project #3: Design glaze rack and working table.
Implementation Date: February 2006
Role: Draughtsman, Technical Assistant
Software: AutoCAD 2000, Solidwork2006, Cosmos, and Excel.

Project Description: Design a racking system for aluminum department for working area and inventory purposes. Where by space planning/layout, artistic and capacity is the main constraint.
My roles for this project as follows:

• Make estimation about rack spec including material, design, capacity and space.
• Meeting supplier / vendor to negotiate on material price, provide spec, test on sample etc.
